Starting at the beginning of 2021, Kim Orr has been instrumental in aiding my boyfriend and I to combine our households.

Initially, I met Kim through my professional capacity in education and have known her to be an exceptional parent to her 3 extraordinary children. Once I saw on an email exchange that she was employed with Harry Norman, a trusted company that I have used before, I was excited to ask her for a recommendation on an agent to help look for a home in the chaotic times of 2021. She agreed to help us herself and both my boyfriend and I have thanked our lucky stars for her. She patiently and good-naturedly showed us over 100 homes in Atlanta, within an above-average price range for below-average selections. Kim was there every step of the way to finding a home with everything that we wanted and then helped us navigate a difficult buying process where my boyfriend was carrying 2 mortgages. She quickly helped him to sell the outside-the-perimeter home so he wouldn't have to carry the two mortgages for long. She did this with tireless suggestions to spruce up the almost new OTP home. Then with even more monumental effort, Kim personally assisted me to renovate my older OTP home from November to February 2023-2024. She met with the trades people at the house when I was not available, she suggested updated finishes, and she even finished the fireplace treatment herself! She also managed to find discounts and remnants wherever possible to cut costs. She had many connections around town to aid in keeping costs down and also to employ local and honest trades people. To say that I couldn't have done it without her is an understatement! The home went under contract days after it was put on the market with multiple offers and with her negotiating skill, Kim helped me to find a new young family to love the house which is exactly what I wanted. Also, it sold for above listing price. The closing at her suggested attorney was quick and easy. I am not sure what higher praise could be given. Kim Orr is a powerhouse of knowledge and experience who I would recommend to anyone and then envy that they get to work with her!
